The Georgian House is a charming hotel set in an attractive column-fronted building. This independent hotel was built as a private house by William Chinnery Mitchell in 1851 and the current family owners are his direct descendants.
The hotel is situated close to Victoria Station and offers easy access to London's main attractions. It is just a short walk to the King’s Road and is very convenient for shopping in Oxford Street or Knightsbridge and Harrods.
The accommodation is provided in two buildings, with the main reception in St George’s Drive and a second small and pretty building, The Bower House in adjacent Cambridge Street.
The 55 luxuriously furnished rooms are traditionally decorated and feature cable television, hairdryer, safe, complimentary toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities.
There is a small shop stocking a range of essentials as well as souvenirs and gifts and staff can help guests book sightseeing tours, theatre trips and restaurants. Laundry services and babysitting are also on offer.
